Hillary Clinton just isn't that exciting. If you listen to the media you have heard some form of this idea during this campaign for the presidency. The media keeps telling us that people don't seem to find Hillary Clinton that exciting. Some people think roller coasters are exciting. Some people think horror movies are exciting. Some people think pornography is exciting.

When Barack Obama first ran for president a lot of people were excited by his campaign. He was a young fresh face and an inspirational speaker. A lot of the people who were excited about his campaign became very discouraged shortly after he became president because their expectations weren't being met.

Many people have been excited about Bernie Sanders and his campaign. Although he is not young and has been in government for most of his life he has been relatively unknown. In many ways he seems like the polar opposite of President Obama although many people are excited by his fiery speeches and the promises he is making. I would have to assume that if he were to become president that many of the people who find him exciting would turn on him and become disappointed as it would be highly unlikely that he would be able to meet their expectations.

Hillary Clinton has been around for a long time and is well known. If you take a closer look at her it is possible to see that she has many different qualities. She is very well accomplished. She is extremely smart and hard working. She has withstood a nonstop assault on almost everything about her. The qualities she possesses are enduring.


I have been married for almost 38 years. I am still excited by my marriage. I have had the same best friend for over 45 years and our friendship still excites me. I voted for Barack Obama twice and I am still excited about him. I was also attracted by his youth and inspirational speaking but what really attracted me the most is that I could see that he had a vast number of enduring qualities and that's what I look for in a leader, particularly in the leadership of the President of the United States.
