Mexico activists found dead by roadside in Guerrero state

Police in Mexico say they have found the bodies of three left-wing activists who went missing on Thursday after a protest in support of local farmers.

Five others are still missing. The bodies were found by the roadside in southern Guerrero state.

Two bodies had bullet wounds, while the third victim seems to have been beaten to death.

Mexican police say it is not clear whether the activists have been killed for their political work.

God, this is an ancient story. So sad to know it's happening right now and most likely won't be ended any time soon.

The good ones protest right-wing filthy scum and get slaughtered for their trouble. Does that sound unfair, for any reason?

And the local police people just don't know if this atrocity is connected to the victims' moral political views.

Mexico is such a large country. They have a long way to go to overcome the criminals, just like the US.
