(770 posts)I don't think many tribes living in the Amazonas region have access to the Internet. They are lucky if they have electricity and phone service. I've lived in places a bit more civilized and the local radio provided more than just news. But the Amazonas tribes have voted against the Chavistas for many years, and have had rebellions in the recent past against the Venezuelan army. So it's evident this is about government repression against the tribes and their leadership. I don't think we will see Maduro go to Amazonas and mix with the people, they will leave him looking like a pin cushion.
