Workers crowd jeers at Maduro on Workers' Day

After announcing a 30% rise of minimum wage for Workers' Day (20% now and 10% in June), the Venezuelan president provoked a negative reaction in the crowed that gathered to listen to his speech. The rise being far from sufficient to compensate for the inflation rate (70% general, 102% food), the crowd started shouting "treinta pa ya" (30% now) and "treinta es muy bajo vete pal carajo" (30% is too low, go to hell). Consequently, Maduro rebuked them telling them "they couldn't be selfish" and that they had to "rectify their parceled and selfish point of view", reminding them they could "count on his support".
