FARC Releases Video of Army Commander’s Release

In the video, the Colombian soldier says he has been “treated with dignity” by the guerrilla group.


The Colombian FARC guerrilla released a video on Monday, showing the liberation of sub-lieutenant Cristian Moscoso, who was captured earlier this month by the rebels in the Putumayo region.

The video shows Moscoso dressed in civilian clothes with his arm bandaged, talking about his abduction with a FARC leader.

“They treated me with dignity, from the moment we were caught in an ambush,” explained the captured soldier in the video.
