Evo Morales Says Good Bye to Doctors Departing to Major in Cuba

La Paz, Sep 2 (Prensa Latina) Bolivian President Evo Morales, said good bye today to 50 doctors that will study highly complex specialties in Cuba, and urged them to ensure the needs of the population when they return.

Morales said at the Quemado Palace, headquarters of the Government, that the 50 doctors were taken out of the 800 applicants and that were chosen for their high academic index.

"My respect and admiration for their knowledge, for their commitment to life, to Bolivia. This specialization, this scholarship granted by the Bolivian State is a fair recognition", said the president.

At the same time, Morales thanked the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro and Cuban President Raul Castro for the cooperation in the areas of health and education, without preconditions.
