just as some in another nation are whipping themselves into a frenzy because the ex wife of a president might win, here is Dilma, a lesbian, former political prisoner, hard left wing woman, gets pushed out. Sorry Dilma, but when the World Cup proceeded to grind over the working class and poor with nary a speed bump, I knew something was rotten en Brasil. Here is hoping the Olympics do not finish what the World Cup started.

And trust me: everyone from banks, business, to teachers, lawyers, and labor, are already missing the old girl.

How couldn't they, with Macri confirming every suspicion as to his highly disruptive economic policies (a planned shock devaluation and other moves that have caused prices to skyrocket even before being implemented, hurting business and labor alike), his attacks on public education (signing a decree "by mistake" that among other things cuts education budgets by up to half - after three days, the "mistake" still stands), and his preference for autocratic governance (abusing an emergency clause in the Constitution to rule by decree, including cutting taxes for his top contributors and packing the Supreme Court with no congressional oversight).

And now, revelations that the 43 national guardsmen killed in a bus crash (tire blowout due to overpacking) were sent on a politically-motivated mission by Macri's own Security Minister (an alcoholic rottweiler) as shock troops for a close ally.

Macri can always join Bush, Berlusconi, Fujimori, and Uribe. I'm sure they could use another fascist crook to talk to.
