After being embroiled in a massive drug scandal, Kenji Fujimori is set to be the next president of Congress.

Congress member Kenji Fujimori has received the highest number of votes in Peru’s election despite being implicated in major drug trafficking scandals.

According to CPI exit polls, over 500,000 Peruvians voted for the younger brother of presidential front-runner Keiko Fujimori.

As the most popular member, Fujimori will become the next president of Congress, raising concern over the presence of narco-candidates in Peru’s political system.
