What to do when your car breaks down on the road, in Cuba

We've been stuck on the side of the road a few times in Cuba.
This is as accurate as it gets.
Some things the Cuban people teach me is no matter how bad things are, don't flip out - and make the best of it.

Have also heard people are completely safe in hitchhiking, always get a ride.
