Cuban and U.S. People Come Together in Rumba Night

Washington, Jul 1 (Prensa Latina) Cuban residents in the District Capital of Washington and the states of Maryland, Virginia, Louisiana and Georgia, together with diplomats of their country of birth and of the U.S. merged to celebrate a rumba night until today's early hours.

The party was a new chapter of the cultural evenings organized by Havana´s embassy and consulate in this capital, an initiative aimed to strengthen the unity among compatriots, friends of the island and lovers of its culture.

On this occasion, the artistic center Joe's Movement Emporium in Maryland, very near to Washington D.C. organized the evening starring the group Rumberos All Stars.

Including those least seasoned in dancing moved his body to the music and the North Americans present followed the steps of Cubans like students with their professors in a special dance class.
