by The RR Politician
Translation: Five women gave birth on the floor of the Hospital Dr. Raul Leoni in San Felix (Bolívar), denounced Dr. Maria Yanes, former president of the network of Scientific Societies.
Yanes also stressed the importance of opening up humanitarian assistance in Venezuela. "Yesterday, 5 patients were delivered to the floor in the Social Security of Guaiparo Hospital (Dr. Raúl Leoni Hospital)," he wrote on Twitter and published a photograph of the women on the health center floor.

An anecdote I've heard, in the end the doctors had to cancel surgeries because they didn't have medical thread to stitch the patient back together afterwards.

Who is the worker detained in the Sebin for the photo of the parturients in Lara?
Lenny Josefina Martínez González is the name of the worker of the Hospital Pastor Oropeza that portrayed the images of the women giving birth in the seats of the waiting room.
The dissemination of the two photos, taken with her cell phone, made her the target of an investigation by officials of state security agencies. Two days after being published in social networks, Lenny was taken to the headquarters of the political police, Sebin, of the city of Barquisimeto (northwest). There she remains in detention.

Chavismo blames these young, idealistic women for all the bad press. Because lack of beds and medical supplies and medicine and doctors and nurses isn't the problem... the public perception of Chavismo has been damaged!
