Maduro offers a 80,000 Bs increase in university scholarships to students

In Maduro's world, that is an $8000 gift, since the Chavista imposed DICOM rate is 10 Bs / 1 USD!

In the REAL WORLD, that is $0.98... that's right. 98 cents. (better spend it now, its likely to be less than 80 cents by next week.

1. Since I assume universities only accept Bolivars, not dollars, it WOULD amount to a large 'gift'.

Without knowing tuition fees in local currency the claim of only 96 cents is without foundation.

The equivalent of one US dollar per day. That is his salary. In worthless Bolivars.

He is quite eloquent in his explanation of why he is no longer Chavista, and is fleeing Venezuela. Worth a read.
