With patrols of tanks, abundant deployment of state security forces, closed settlements and rumors of looting, Ciudad Bolivar awoke yesterday, after Christmas, as a result, at least, of a confirmed looting and two other attempts on Monday in the night in which there were at least 22 detainees.
"After 1:00 in the afternoon, most of the businesses located in the municipality of Heres closed their doors to rumors of looting. In the case of Paseo Orinoco, the presence of the Bolívar State Police was maintained," said journalist Pableysa Ostos.
