55% of Venezuelans will not participate in the presidential elections: 9% will vote for Maduro

"55% of Venezuelans will not participate in the presidential elections": Rubén Chirino Madrid on a new Meganalisis survey

Rubén Chirino Madrid, president of Meganálisis, presented the most recent survey of that firm, which indicates that Venezuelans do not want to participate in elections and that they perceive the electoral contest as biased. "The elections do not solve the hunger problem of the country," he said.

"People are hungry and have been deceived by both the Maduro government and the small sector of the opposition parties that have collaborated too much with the Chavez government and now want to participate in elections that the people do not want ... that do not have guarantees or electoral conditions, because they all favor Maduro. With these conditions Maduro becomes invincible, "he explained.

55% will not participate in the presidential elections and 72.5% of the population does not trust the National Electoral Council, the survey revealed.

84.9% of people say they are going hungry in Venezuela, he stressed. He argued that 74.3% of respondents believe that the elections are not the way out of the Venezuelan crisis. "We always vote and hunger is still worse," said 45%, "Chirino said.

He said that 75% of those who voted for the opposition on December 6 do not believe in the primary elections of the Democratic Unity Table and 81% of Venezuelans do not identify with any political party.

Lorenzo Mendoza, owner of the Polar conglomerate, has the highest intention to vote, with 28.7% followed by Nicolás Maduro with 9.8%.

Summary: Nobody thinks that voting is worthwhile, because every time they vote, things get worse under Chavismo.

Maduro illegally packed the TSJ (Supreme Court) with Chavistas after the 2015 elections that Chavismo lost in an epic landslide.

The TSJ won't seat members of the supermajority National Assembly, holding them in contempt and negating all their laws.

The CNE (National Election Council, all Chavista) won't allow recall referendums of Maduro, bans opposition candidates.

Maduro calls for a Constitutional Assembly WITHOUT asking the public if they even wanted one.

The new Constitutional Assembly (ANC, all Chavista) disbands the National Assembly, assumes control of legislature.

The ANC forgets to re-write Constitution and instead starts passing bizarre laws... including hate crime laws if anyone says anything bad about Chavismo or the Bolivarian revolution.

CNE and TSJ call for regional elections. Opposition candidates banned en masse. Chavismo wins in a landslide despite 20% popularity. Only 4 governors from outside PSUV win... backroom dealings. One opposition governor not allowed to be seated, because he won't swear loyalty to fraud ANC.

Mayor elections. Another sweep for PSUV... including in municipalities where 80% vote for non PSUV candidate.

At mayor elections, Maduro promises "Christmas hams" and childrens toys to those starving, suffering Venezuelans who use their Carnet de la Patria (Chavismo Loyalty Card) when they show up to "vote". Problem? There are no hams! And the toys are dog chew toys!

ANC bans major opposition parties from presidential elections in October... then moves election date forward because Chavismo (out of money, out of time) won't last until October.
