Subversive groups that operate in the states of Táchira, Barinas and Apure, charge the producers of beef cattle with 10% of what they move and then slaughter it in boarders or clandestine slaughterhouses, El Nacional reports .

Until recently the governorships of Barinas and Apure restricted the mobilization of cattle to other states to obtain benefit in their territories thanks to the distribution in their entity.

The measure was taken in accordance with the government pilot plan tested for a few months in the meat-producing states and was ruled out until the issuance in Official Gazette No. 41,526, a joint resolution prohibiting these restrictions.

"If you move 10 bulls, you must give them two. Those animals take them to the booms where there is no sanitary measure, kill them and take out the meat for sale. Some sell it at the same price as in most markets and in others a little more expensive," said a producer from Apure who demanded not to be identified.
