Christian Zerpa, magistrate of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), said Monday that in 2016 he witnessed how the ambassador of Cuba gave political instructions to Nicolás Maduro.

"In a situation that I had to witness how the ambassador of Cuba entered an office where Nicolás Maduro was and a person close to him told me that they were giving him instructions," Zerpa said.

He pointed out that Cuba makes the decisions so that Venezuela acts in one way or another.

Zerpa fled from Venezuela to the United States (US), because he allegedly did not want to be part of the "swearing-in" of Nicolás Maduro on January 10.

Personally, I would make him go back to Venezuela. Or some other country that would take him. Maybe Cuba, or Russia. He is unrepentant and has nothing but love for Chavismo... until the teat ran dry. Now he wants his family to be "safe" in a system (Capitalism) he despises?
