[VIDEO] Constituent Chavista proposes to "dissolve" the National Assembly of Venezuela "for treason to the Fatherland"
The president of the ANC, Diosdado Cabello announced a constitutional decree, in which he threatened to dissolve the National Assembly "for treason to the Fatherland" if said institution insists on supporting the declaration of the Lima Group with the purpose of "restoring order in that institution."
Also, Cabello while reading the aforementioned decree ordered the TSJ and the rest of the public powers to initiate investigations against those who come to support the decree of the Lima Group.
"I want to add a ninth: order from this ANC to the judicial powers that an immediate investigation be opened for treason against those who fold the declaration of the so-called Group of Lima, it is an instruction to the Supreme Court, to the Public Ministry that a commission is appointed in which I propose Dr. Escarrá, the attorneys Maria Alejandra Díaz and Gladys Requena, for the actions that we can take with respect to that National Assembly in contempt. "
In the referred document the Constituent decreed the following:
"To categorically reject the interventionist statement of the self-styled" Grupo de Lima "and the countries that comprise it, at the service of US political interests, who through an aberrant declaration intend to reduce the country to its colonial state.
"Repudiate in all its terms that any Venezuelan support the illegal declaration of the self-appointed Group of Lima and the countries that comprise it, because it is harmful to Venezuelan interests, violates international law and interference in the internal affairs of our country, as well as the pretending to establish limits to the national territory and to alter the democratic order of our country ".
"To demand in a categorical way to the public authorities the treatment of traitors to the Fatherland and the establishment of corresponding sanctions for those who express their support for the immoral and illegal declaration of the so-called Lima Group given the conditions set forth in this constituent decree".
"If the National Assembly did not act in defense of the sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Venezuela, rejecting in all its terms the immoral and interventionist declaration of the Lima Group, the ANC as the sovereign and plenipotentiary original power of the nation will exercise strict adherence to the Constitution to correct in a timely and exemplary way this terrible behavior ".
"Greet the brave expressions of the peoples and governments of the world that in an honest, respectful and constructive manner (...) have expressed their support for democracy, freedom, and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela."
