You guys here remember the name Oscar Perez? Warning: Graphic photos

He's the CICPC (national forensic police) officer and pilot who hijacked one of their helicopters, hung a banner labeled 350 Libertad (referencing article 350 of the Venezuelan constitution) dropped grenades on a few buildings in downtown Caracas, the Supreme Court being one IIRC, and then went into hiding before being found and killed in a "shootout".

Seems former Attorney General of Venezuela, Luisa Ortega, who is in exile, has released over 300 photogrpahs of the body of Oscar Perez to the International Criminal Court as proof that Perez was murdered.....executed..... though he could have been taken alive. There's video before his death that shows him saying he and his commrades were ready to give up, but were being fired upon every time they tried to do so.

Here's a couple of the photos:

Perez and his commrades were surrouned in their hideout by colectivos and members of FAES (you remember those guys) and finally killed. During the battle, two colectivo honchos were killed. The Maduro regime said they were killed by Perez and his gang. Ortega says the two colectivo bosses were actually murdered by FAES at the scene on the orders of Maduro for having disobeyed past orders.

“También tenemos pruebas contundentes que las dos personas de colectivos que murieron durante el hecho fueron asesinadas por sus compañeros del FAES, quienes ejecutaron la masacre por órdenes de Maduro”, aseguró.

Here's a link to the article in Spanish:

As for Louisa Ortega, my personal opinion is that after she finishes giving up all the goods on Maduro et al, she needs to be imprisoned for doing her part to help them carry out their dastardly deeds.

Wonder if he's hoping for a fair trial?

Should have added, 143 died during the Chavez coup. He got a fair trial.

4. This guy fired upon people at the Interior Ministry. Is that correct?

It sounds to me like he started an armed insurrection that petered out. Perhaps he was counting on more support from the outside. I hope he wasn't counting on trump. Putin might want Maduro right where he is.

Don't you realize that there are millions of black, brown, trigueño, moreno, and even white Venezuelans with blue eyes who want to know when they take a loved one to a hospital in an emergency situation that there will be such things as electricity, clean instruments, functioning medical equpiment, medications, and trained personnel waiting for them when they arrive?

When they get home they'd like to know that they won't get mugged walking to their front door, and when they enter the house they'll find electricity, running water, and a pantry with something to eat within?

I could go on, but you get the picture. Constantly trying to paint this disaster of biblical proportions down here as some type of race war, is nothing but bullshit and does a disservice to those who have put their lives on the line to bring about change, legally and non-violently.
