Cuban Women March for The Cuban Five.

Ciego de Ávila, Cuba, Mar 5 (Prensa Latina) Women in this city staged a march today to support the five anti-terrorist Cuban fighters unfairly held in US prisons since 1998.
As part of the International Campaign Five for the Cuban Five, housewives, workers, students and fighters demonstrated to demand the return home of Gerardo Hernandez, Rene Gonzalez, Ramon Labanino, Fernando Gonzalez and Antonio Guerrero.

The Cuban Five, as these heroes are known worldwide, were detained and given harsh prison sentences for monitoring Miami-based violent groups acting against Cuba.

Four of them still remain in US jails while Rene Gonzalez left prison in 2011 after serving his sentence and was given an additional three-year supervised release punishment.

Solidarity Caravan to Tour Miami for Cuban Five

Washington, Mar 6 (Prensa Latina) Several organizations of Cuban immigrants will stage a motorcade through Miami streets on Saturday, March 9, to demand the immediate, unconditional release of the five anti-terrorist Cuban fighters unfairly held in US prisons since 1998.

Cuban American activist Andres Gomez said in a release that those groups are members of Alianza Martiana (Jose Marti Alliance) and will tour main avenues in solidarity with Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labanino, Antonio Guerrero, Fernando Gonzalez and Rene Gonzalez, internationally known as The Cuban Five.

According to Gomez, the motorcade will protest impunity granted by the US Government to extreme right Cuban-American terrorists and also defend full normalization of relations between Washington and Havana.

Alianza Martiana coalition groups the Antonio maceo Brigade, Alianza Martiana as an individual group, the Jose Marti Association, the ATC, the Bolivarian Club of Miami and the Association of Christian Women in Defense of Family, among other groups in solidarity with Cuba.

often in grotesque, horrifying ways.

They have lived there under threat of extreme violence from the "exile" filth throughout. The list of crimes against decent Cubans in South Florida is astounding!

Thank you, D.D. This is a GIANT step forward. I'm surprised we were able to hear about it at all before someone got car bombed, or fire bombed over their action.
