Are there ANY tv/internet/phone bundles that aren't a scam?

I'm finally moving to my own place and am getting my utility ducks in a row. I've looked at all the packages, Comcast/ATT U-verse/Dish/DirecTV and as far as I can tell they're all "introductory rate" scams. The only slight difference is the numbers, but all the prices are only good for either 6,12 or 24 months. None tell you how much the service will cost after the "deal" expires. It took me hours to discover that HD is an extra charge from AT&T. Grr.

I'm sure people here have gone through this horrific process before and ended up finding the best of the four bad options. Do any of these companies tend to cave if you threaten to leave after 12 months?

I really wish Google fiber was ready to deploy.

It runs $150 for Internet, phone and enhanced cable. I don't know what the others are offering. I have seen some attractive TV ads offering lots of low rates, but after about 12 months the rates go up. Forget Dish. I had it and had problems every time it rained. That's why I switched to cable.

$125 for a decent phone/inet/tv bundle, $165 actual cost on the bill.

Everything works fine, but the actual pricing is obviously a scam. We'll see if I ever get my $300 in gift cards.

Installation was a 4 day nightmare. The tech didn't show up for the first three appointments, AT&T claimed they did, but I was there watching for them the whole time and they didn't show up. Liars. I pretty much hated AT&T customer service even before the service was activated.
