STOCK MARKET FACTS DURING THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION...

DOW JONES UP 60%...
S&P UP 70%
Nasdaq UP 95%

In lay man's terms...IF you had a portfolio of Nasdaq stocks valued at $250,000 on the day Bush took office in 2004...it was worth $125,000 on the day he left in 2008...That same $125,000 is now worth $250,000 and growing.

Nasdaq up big today...

My father always said "the republicans know how to get elected but can't govern, and always leave us in a mess"...
he said that 40 years ago ...

i just voted...it felt sooooo good

and I knew what was coming in 2007 and I waited it out. My net worth isn't quite what it was at the market's peak, but that's OK. Waiting it out kept my income from it the same.

I'm delighted it's rebounded, though. The markets alone should prove to everyone that Republicanism DOES NOT WORK.

I hope I live to see the last vestiges of Reaganism overturned and financial markets restored to heavily regulated sanity.

Capitalism only works when it's heavily regulated and mixed with enough socialism to make life bearable for labor.
