NHTSA Investigates Nissan Cars for “Unintended Acceleration” Concern
Posted by: Jessica June 29, 2014

The US National Highway Transportation Safety Administration reveals on Saturday that they are investigating more than 360,000 Nissan cars due to an ‘unintended acceleration’ issue.

The Nissan cars that are under investigation include the Nissan Versa, Versa Sedan, and Versa Note vehicles, all were manufactured between 2012 and 2014.

The NHTSA investigation stemmed from complaints from at least four vehicle owners. The vehicle owners apparently complaint about the tunnel carpet cover trim panel restricts with the driver’s ability to work the accelerator and brake pedal by trapping his or her shoe.

Reports said one of the complainants said he had to grab his leg and pull it up to free his foot, nearly crashing the vehicle.
