Every thing in your post is fact based, and there is not dispute. As a former Wisconsinite,I am hoping the populace will reawaken and return their State to the former self.

the Men Responsible for the Wisconsin Train Wreck, were for the most part, educated in our Wisconsin School System. Couple of these fellows were Class Mates back in the day. Never trusted the YGOP ers of that era, mostly Birch supporters and Nixonites, and to think they as a group did the deed of wrecking the state.

These Tea Party extremists believe that there party still mirrors the Party of Lincoln, but what these dolts fail to realize is the ideological realignment that as taken place. The Party of Lincoln's philosophy is parallel to contemporary centrist Democrats. I wrote this blog about party realignment:

Growing up in Northern Wisconsin, and reading the Old Telegram out of Superior, and again that being the fifties with a very hearty Labor influence in that Paper, article upon article calling for the GOP to come clean on it's Birch Society Ideals. When my old Bud Russ Fiengold bit the dust,I had a bad feeling that the State had did what I feared, and that was to eat it's own despite what Doyle had accomplished for improving their quality of life.

Hatred sells as well as self loathing,we see it in Walker and his Ilk.
