One item last year that came back to bite these farmers was the steep price of Cash Rents for Cash crops. Most Corn Growers lost their butts,cash price at harvest was below replacement costs and if you grew that crop on rented land. Ouch! Soybean Growers did a little better if they did their hedging or had pre harvest sales contracts.

Again April first will paint the real picture.
