Trump 'signs off' on deal to pause US-China trade war

Asian stock markets rose on Friday as the US and China moved toward striking a trade deal to avert a new round of tariffs.

The deal could be announced later in the day, after US President Donald Trump reportedly signed off on the terms.

Washington is said to have agreed to remove some tariffs, while Beijing would boost purchases of US farm goods.

However, many of the more difficult issues are still to be addressed.

Optimism surrounding a trade deal pushed Asian markets higher, with Japan's Nikkei 225 index rising 2.3% while Hong Kong's Hang Seng put on 2%. The Shanghai Composite added 1.2%.

Earlier, US markets also gained ground with the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq closing at fresh record highs.

Then ramp it up worse to hurt the farmers causing even more bankruptcies. He'll destroy the smaller farmers , just like he already is planning to destroying Medicare , Medicaid , and Social Security a lot more, which his tax scam bill already took millions from those three programs. This is pre-election moves designed to claim he's helping them , but after the elections he'll intentionally hurt them even more.

He knows if he imposes the tariffs on Sunday the markets will drop. Trump needs to pretend he got some concession from China so he can back down on imposing the tariffs. I bet we won't see anything in writing about China buying our farm products.

He destroys economic relations and then patts his own huge butt when things get a little better.

Farmers are stupid if they fall for Dumpy Trumpy scam yet again.
