Mortgage delinquencies surge by 1.6M in April, the biggest monthly jump ever

Delinquencies among borrowers for past-due mortgages are soaring, a sign that Americans are struggling to pay their bills due to a wave of layoffs or lost income from the coronavirus pandemic.

Mortgage delinquencies surged by 1.6 million in April, the largest single-month jump in history, according to a report from Black Knight, a mortgage technology and data provider.

The data includes both homeowners past due on mortgage payments who aren’t in forbearance, along with those in forbearance plans and who didn’t make a mortgage payment in April.

At 6.45%, the national delinquency rate doubled from 3.06% in March - the largest single-month increase ever recorded, and nearly three times the prior record for a single month during the height of the financial crisis in late 2008, Black Knight said.

There is no plan.
There is an empty-headed slogan to "reopen the country"...yet the very real issues like mortgage delinquencies and credit ratings and the future of small businesses liquidated by this pandemic are nowhere in the discussions.

Small minds can only create tiny solutions.
We need geniuses at the moment, and we are cursed with imbeciles.

What is happening RIGHT NOW is an echo of what happened in January and February...instead of making the health crisis explode, he is making the economic crisis ready for detonation.

What.
Is.
The.
Plan.
Mr.
President?

No, its not a 'nasty' question because you don't know, its a fucking national tragedy that you are still in charge of anything you fucking worthless moron.

"Get me Munchkin, or whatever the hell his name is..."

"Yes, Mr. President?"

"Yeah. Hey, Steve. How much moolah did you say you made from foreclosures a few years ago? I'm asking for a friend."

instills fear of wasting money on anything that jeopardizes
my long term survival making a large monthly payment for
for something that does nothing to protect my longevity
seems absolutely superfluous.

Especially as the Reich Wing are viewing this manmade
(Trump) disaster as evidence of the approaching "End
Times" event.

Genius, shear genius.

Kill untold numbers of people, thinking people, like non-Reich
Wing, rich, christians who, to ensure their "proscribed"
method of "End Time" death, is visited upon all that believe
otherwise.
