I was trying to fill some gaps re. Jock Yablonski and this passage jumped off the page and bit me in the...... *arm*.

Made me think of *my* union, frankly: AFT. ( Local: UFT)

'People of a certain age' will recall the Yablonski murder trial ---- and the resultant labor turmoil ---- which seemed to drag thru the courts with the speed of melting polar ice caps during the early 70's.
