Former Boilermaker Shop Steward, former Recording Secretary of an industrial shipyard union, former long time member of the American Federation of Musicians, currently employed by the IAFF.

I've been on DU a while now. But I HAVE just discovered this group!

Hope to see some of y'all over in the Socialist Progressives group too. We could use some more "official" labor voices and posts there. I'll probably be cross-posting a bunch.

I am a former member of the Laborers' Union, a Teamster, and president of my local teachers' union...and from WI.
