Cesar Valenzuela's death at LAX

I just wanted to pull folks' attention toward the Cal/OSHA report on the death of Cesar Valenzuela, which was released this week.

Cesar was killed back in February when he was thrown from the baggage tug he was driving and hit by the vehicle. The report showed that he was driving a baggage tug that had no functioning seat belt, that the company discouraged its drivers from wearing seat belts and they refused to carry out regular safety inspections.

We've had workers tell us about how they reported vehicles with faulty breaks and other defects, but managers wouldn't listen.

More to come in coming weeks, and this isn't a one company or one airport problem. There are real safety problems on the ramp at airports across the nation.

So I wanted to share a few things:
