Related: About this forumWhere do you buy quality pencils?
Even when I buy the most expensive ones, one in ten will not sharpen correctly. Now I only buy pre-sharpened.

(2,282 posts)1. I'd like to know the answer to this too.
Every time I buy a pack of pencils the leads aren't centered so you can't sharpen them without the sharpener chewing them up.

I usually find them at Office Max/Depot (always get those stores mixed up). And in August, they are at KMart, etc, with the school supplies.

are Mirado brand. Not sure about bulk supply prices. Black Warrior or their standard yellow #2s are smooth and sharpen well.
