So I ran across this headline on CNN

And I clicked on it because I started thinking oh crap, there goes ANWR

So they found 6 to 10 B barrels. And maybe they can recover up to 60 percent.

Being optimistic, let's say 10 B barrels and 60 percent... so that's 6 B barrels, which does sound like a lot and, at the current price per barrel, that's a lot of money.

But the article also states that the world uses 79 million barrels per day, so this find is only about 76 DAYS worth of oil... or a whopping 11 weeks!!!

So lets start drilling to get our next 11 weeks of oil fix! Moose and bears and caribou be damned.



We really got to get off oil.
