The stupidity and ignorance of critics of nuclear energy is responsible for their selective attention.

These people have the temerity to have bet the entire planetary atmosphere on their solar and wind fantasies, which have failed completely to address climate change.

The result of this ignorant fantasy - by which advocates of the squandered 2 trillion dollars in just ten years on useless and fairly toxic solar junk, all while embracing the lie that solar and wind are economical, and are growing fast - is that the concentration of carbon dioxide in the planetary atmosphere is as of yesterday morning was 407.36 ppm.

GLOBAL TRENDS IN RENEWABLE ENERGY INVESTMENT 2017

The fastest growing source of energy on the planet between 2000 and 2016 was coal. While this two trillion dollars was being squandered, the energy produced by coal on this planet grew by than 60.5 exajoules to reach 157.2 exajoules out of of 576.2 exajoules used by humanity as a whole.

IEA 2017 World Energy Outlook, Table 2.2 page 79 (MTOE converted to exajoules.)

The allegedly "fastest growing" solar and wind industries combined produce 9.4 exajoules. That's not growth. That's their entire production after half a century of mindless cheering.

Of course, the partisans of the so called "renewable energy" are entirely uninterested in environmental issues or issues of human health. Their interest is in attacking nuclear energy which has consistently been producing 28 exajoules each year, although its growth has been stopped by an idiotic cartoonish view of the world, by which coal, oil and gas are allowed to kill at will. The fossil fuel waste from fossil fuels responsible for roughly half of the 7 million deaths each year from air pollution, with "renewable" biomass accounting for the other half.

And because this is true, nuclear energy saves lives. It follows that the stupid rhetoric of anti-nukes kills people.

Most of them spend lots of time on computers burning electricity overwhelming produced by dangerous fossil fuels, praying for someone to die from Fukushima so they can burn more gas and coal to complain about it.

I wish everyone a pleasant evening of watching the chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) festival this evening and the accompanying paens to consumerism. Be sure to cheer if some corporation displays a picture of a wind turbine.
