I had paid zero attention to him before, but he seemed to be the only one who actually had any answer about fossil fuel that sounded positive. He had me at electric cars. Then he talked about regenerative agriculture! How refreshing! Ahead of the curve!
I'm not saying he should be president, btw. Just enjoyed that part and not seeing anyone on Twitter with anything nice to say about it so here I am.

(2,572 posts)Honestly, I never even noticed him in the first debate. There were several of those. Bullock? It's like I'd never laid eyes on him before.

(32,046 posts)is my Congressman. He has always been in staunch opposition of the Iraq war.
He totally gets it about trade, manufacturing, and empowerment of workers. He would make a fabulous secretary of labor.

(7,655 posts)during the first debate about staying in Afghanistan is what I didn't like much. I think we need to stop these meaningless wars that have destabilized the entire Middle East. I feel the assualt on Iraq was a crime against humanity - we should be ashamed.

(4,862 posts)He really lost me when he mentioned creating a CEO of (I forgot the name) commission to study how to make manufacturing in the USA competitive again. I dont see this as productive. We know they want union-free laborers, no taxes and protectionist trade policies to maximize their profits at the expense of everyone else. I need more details to but into this idea.
