Well, That Figures: Classified Security Details For COP 26 In Glascow Accidentaly Published Online

Security plans for the COP26 climate change conference have been “blown”, a terror expert has warned, after civil servants accidentally published blueprints of the site online.

United Nations officials and heads of state from across the world are expected to attend the conference at Glasgow’s SEC Centre in November to discuss the next steps for tackling the climate emergency.

But civil servants in Westminster accidentally published sensitive details of the site online - including the location of secret tunnels, VIP entrances along with gas and electricity generators.

The former head of the UK national counter terrorism office, Chris Phillips, said the blunder "is an extremely serious oversight, which has blown any hope of security."
