Looks like a turn has been made and the melt season is over

Minimum this year was 3.709 million sq km. This was only 434,000 sq km above the record low set in 2012, but 2.494 msk below the long term average extent minimum of 6.268 million sq km.

And in the Antarctic, huge icebergs keep on breaking off. I wonder how high the oceans will be if there is no permanent ice anywhere. Ahh, 70 meters or about 230 feet. I do love being able to find out stuff so quickly and easily.
