Zaha Hadid Architects unveils hydrogen refuelling stations for Italian marinas

British studio Zaha Hadid Architects is creating 100 refuelling stations in Italian marinas for energy company NatPower as the "world's first green hydrogen refuelling infrastructure".
Designed to be used by recreational boats, the refuelling stations by Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) will supply green hydrogen – a type of hydrogen produced using renewable energy.
The first charging station is set to be installed this summer, with 100 planned to be built in 25 Italian marinas and ports by 2030 funded by a €100 million investment led by NatPower H, which is part of energy company NatPower.

Other projects exploring hydrogen refuelling technologies include a mirror-polished stainless-steel refuelling station by French designer Philippe Starck designed to give a futuristic feel.

Here's an article that should be read by every single American but went mostly ignored.
Because it would require real work to even begin to fix. Most in DC would rather beg for more money for bombs, tanks, drones, surveillance etc. Trillions for war, nothing for the US as it slides into irrelevance.

U.S. ethics officials in recent years have warned one-third of the Energy Department’s senior officials that they or their families owned stocks related to the agency’s work, reminding them not to violate federal conflict-of-interest rules.
Most held on to the stocks, a Wall Street Journal analysis of officials’ financial disclosures from 2017 through 2021 shows.
The more than 300 agency officials who received such warnings include nearly six dozen who held stocks of major energy companies such as Exxon Mobil Corp.
More than 130 officials in the Energy Department collectively reported about 2,700 trades of shares, bonds and options in companies that ethics officers labeled as related to their agency’s work, according to the Journal’s analysis, which examined only disclosures by officials who filed annual reports in that period.
Behind those investments is a quirk in the Energy Department’s policies. Its ethics lawyers, as they review officials’ annual financial disclosure forms, painstakingly identify stocks that could pose conflicts with the department’s work, including companies that are regulated by the agency, contractors and loan or grant recipients. This kind of thing is RAMPANT in the US GOV right now - from energy to pharmaceuticals.
NOTHING will even begin to get any better in the US as long as this kind of thing goes ignored. It's a tragedy in real life. Disgusting.
But "The Next Hitler" has probably already been identified and plans being made for "Regime Change"
Now that's something. A big something.
Italy announces the first H2 infrastructure for zero emission boating and very few know about it.
That way, no one will demand anything like this in N America.
And the oil and gas industry can continue polluting the waterways.
Many people say hydrogen is too hard. Can't build an infrastructure, can't work with it (but propane trucks everywhere), can't afford it (but billions for the most corrupt nation in the EU) etc etc etc.
But Europe can build the beginnings of a hydrogen infrastructure for autos - imagine that.

Once most people see that the Marine environment can work without oil and gas places like Lake Tahoe will then build a marine hydrogen system. But they wouldn't be the first, like this Italian project. Soon there won't be anymore "Firsts" for the US when it comes to H2.
