Meteorologist Jim Cantore was inducted into the Punxsutawney, Pa. Meteorology Hall of Fame

Well, bravo for "Hurricane" Jim.
Glad he has job security, too.

An employee with The Weather Channel for more than 26 years, Cantore is just the seventh meteorologist inducted into this exclusive club, according to the Punxsutawney Spirit. He joins Stephanie Abrams and Dr. Greg Forbes as employees of The Weather Channel to be honored by the Hall of Fame.

I just couldn't resist. Your post just resonates with Groundhog Day, Bill Murray's (AKA Phil Connors) classic flick celebrating the day.

If you haven't seen it, it's pretty damned good.

Sorry. Didn't mean to offend.

Tried to rent it for this last weekend from my local video store, Family Video. Their last copy became damaged last year and the opted not to replace it. I reminded them that they don't seem to have that problem with all the hack and slash horror flicks they have all over the place.

Groundhog Day is one of my favorites, and is one of Bill Murray's best.
