(60,010 posts)in a "weather" folder, cause not only is it fun to watch, it tells me when our storms may be rolling in down here, and those storms can be a problem.

(49,991 posts)My brother replaced his gas water heater with an electric one because his town has such cheap elec. Since the wind farms in their area produce more wind electricity than they can use, the sell the excess to the grid.
