(12,022 posts)What he says, around 5:25, about too much tv is right on. The people I know who watch the most tv, who quote their favorite shows and talk about celebrities, are the ones in the most denial about the future. They're the same people who see no use in animals except to eat them.

But we will still have community (soup kitchens), friends (in need) and family (funerals).

At some point, it won't.
