But it's a bit silly to ignore it. On the other hand it's a really bad idea to do what the Chinese communists did, and move to a split society with ruthless capitalism. The new Chinese fascism is terrible for the working class and the environment...it seems to be the endpoint of communism. I like a middle ground, where we do keep the economy growing on a per capita basis. But I'd like to see more emphasis on reducing the population numbers and a long range plan to have a sustainable (more or less) civilization.
