KS Legislature Prepares Resolution To Oppose Any Obama Climate Policies

EDIT

The chairman of the Kansas legislative panel, Republican state Rep. Dennis Hedke, argues climate change was not man-made. In a slideshow, he pointed to graphs that show the earth has endured periods of warming and cooling for 10,000 years. "That's real data," he said, according to the AP.

Obama’s goal to limit carbon emissions, Hedke added, would not be effective in preventing further damage to the environment.

Another Kansas Republican, Sen. Forrest Knox, said “alarmists” stir the climate change debate.

"The only thing you know for sure about the weather in Kansas, as you all know, is it's going to change," Knox said. "That's all we really know about climate, too."

Sometimes it's hot, sometimes it's cold. Fail.
