I do not believe most Americans give two shits about anything other than their next software download or if the Kardashians really go to the bathroom ....

This "I am not a scientist" BS is really irritating and utterly specious, and I am really tired of it.

I am not a scientist either. I am not a lot of things. I am not a plumber, a roofer, a surgeon, a tax expert, an attorney, a tailor, a masseuse, an auto mechanic, or a hair stylist - just to name a few. I trust myself to seek out experts in those and other fields when I need their services, and if their credentials are convincing, then I trust them to competently provide me the services I seek.

I don't have to be a professional chef to know if food tastes good.
