Fascinating, and depressing, animation of temperature records for 100 years

It's an animation that I can't post here. You have to go to the web site to see it in action. Very interesting, but not at all surprising. I did find it interesting that the temperature records took a sudden jump up during WWII and then paused for a few years after peace broke out.
