More than 100 advocates representing dozens of industry groups, companies and environmental organizations are flocking to the White House in a last-ditch effort to influence controversial regulations that would redefine the reach of the federal governments water pollution enforcement.

All those fighting regs that protect water should be forced to only drink water from wells near fracking. Or downstream from chemical plants.

Sometimes it feels as if even a good, well-intentioned rule can no longer protect the environment. Industry has complete regulatory capture of our government agencies
