(21,088 posts)We eat both the wild fish and the farmed ones, and will probably continue to do so as long as there are still wild fish to eat. As we exterminate more of the wild ones, we "replace" them with farmed ones. But it's not really a replacement, is it? Except in human dietary terms.
The point is not feeding humans. The point is the damage we're doing to the biosphere.
