North Sierra snowpack now 102% of normal for today and 100% of April 1 average

Central is at 94% and 90% respectively. Only the South Sierra is quite a bit below average (81% and 79%).

Meanwhile most large Northern California reservoirs (except Trinity) are at or above average.

Only took and abnormal El-nino to break the multi-year blocking ridge pattern.

At least this will slow the depletion of the CA aquifers.

for this year! Thanks, el Nino! We're at 100% of average in Colorado too, but these days it's one season at a time. Very unpredictable outside of an el Nino year.
