Bill Clinton and his plant-based diet

I was just thinking: if not for his new healthy diet, which seems to be keeping his heart disease at bay, would he be out on the stump for Obama? He might not even be around any more.

So happy he's still here and still lively! He's no doubt the best political speaker of our time.

I'm a vegan also. Best diet. I'm glad many people like Clinton are taking it. JackN415 Nov 2012 #2

My blood sugar has dropped to normal (am a diet-and-exercise-only diabetic) and my cholesterol too. Have lost weight and feel great.

I am a vegan with an occasional serving of fish. No dairy though--and the cutting out of saturated animal fats is what has fixed my blood sugar levels. Saturated fat leads to insulin resistance.
