12 Ghazni Districts on the Verge of Collapes
June 17, 2015
GHAZNI CITY - Local members of High Peace Council (HPC) and residents feared 12 districts of southern Ghazni province are in danger of falling to Taliban.
Secretary HPC Khalilullah Hotak told Pajhwok Afghan News on Tuesday that Taliban had more control in the province than the government and people were forced to obey militants orders.
Fall of district simply means Taliban are in control of the district and at least 12 districts in Ghazni face looming threats of falling to Taliban any time. The government control has only confined to the center of the district, he added.
Taliban ordered to close schools for three days and all educational institutions had to remain close which proved that insurgents are in control, he added.
