Fights and insults mar UN quest for peace in Yemen

UN brokered peace moves on Yemen erupted into a slanging match between warring factions as the talks look doomed to end in failure.

Supporters of the exiled Yemeni government threw a shoe at Houthi officials and shouted insults as the animosity between both camps erupted into violence.

A fight ensued and bottles were thrown before order was restored.
