TEHRAN (FNA)- Consider the logic: The Obama Administration wants a Congressional authorization for their air war against ISIL and everything else in Iraq and Syria.

At the same time, they openly brag about their “dalliance” with Turkey in bombing Kurdish populations in the two Arab countries – without getting Congress or the United Nations to agree!

They are now bombing civilian targets, al-Qaeda’s Nusra Front, and ISIL - anything that moves. There is even talk of attacking Syria’s own military – the number one enemy of ISIL and al-Qaeda!

The Obama administration claims they are defending “assets,” and that they consider their “moderate” terrorists in Syria assets, and therefore they can do whatever they want to any conceivable enemy of those forces, including the Syrian army.

Under international law, this doesn’t justify the new air war against Syria. The same law says the US (and Turkey) cannot declare whatever they want in whatever country to be an “asset” and then fight a war on that basis.
